Plantar Fasciitis is the most common cause of heel pain in adults. The classic symptom of plantar fasciitis is heel pain that is typically worse with the first few steps of the day and lessons as walking continues. Pain is usually the most intense at the end of the day. The pain can be described as a deep ache or tenderness. Other symptoms are stiffness, sharp shooting pain, localized inflammation, tightness in calves or hamstrings and are most intense at the end of the day.
